RYEDALE AQUARIST SOCIETY EARLY YEAR PARTY 2012

Our members and locally-based friends enjoyed our 2011 Early New Year Party so much that we decided to go with the same idea for 2012.

Thankfully, the weather remained calm so, on the evening of Wednesday 22nd February 2012, a total of 21 members and friends of Ryedale Aquarist Society made their way to the Mill Suite at Pickering Memorial Hall.

The evening began with the presentation of a 'Colours quiz' that was devised by
Miss Sue Marshall. The 25 questions had a mixed theme but all led to some form of colour as their answer. The winners were the 'Seasiders' team of Mr. Frank Tolomeo, Mrs. Ann Grayson, Mr. Richard Hebden and Richard's girlfriend Sarah

For the 'pot luck supper' the people present filled a couple of large tables to the brim with a variety of sweet and savoury foods.

As you will see from the accompanying photograph Mr. Frank Tolomeo's 'Play your cards right Ryedale style' went down a storm and finished a wonderful evening in great style. Mr. Mark Lyons and I played a very tactical game to take first place over the husband and wife team of Trevor and Joan Douglas.
