are some more of the many beautiful fish which appeared on the show benches.
Photographs by Steve Grant. | When the Auction began, an audience
of well over 100 people filled this section of the hall. As a number of
local people had come along to view the fish exhibits, and get a taste of what
was happening during the day, an audience of just over 70 people (some of whom
had travelled from as far away as Cumbria and Preston) stayed for the full duration
of this part of the event. Auctioneer Steve Jones and his team did a good
job with the 20 ‘lots’ to auction. On our left you can also
see the Fishphilosophy trade stand. Photograph by David Marshall.

As we can see from the photograph the Edward’s family were both
surprised and delighted to take home the first prize in our Fish Card competition.
